On October 23, 2026, Dr. Li Ruohong, the Chairman of the China World Peace Foundation and the President of the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundationwere invited to attend the National Day reception at the Austrian Embassy.

At the reception, H.E.Mr. Wolf Dietrich Heim of the Austrian Embassy delivered a speech. He stated that Austria has always adhered to the multilateralism diplomatic concept, abided by the UN Charter and international law norms, and advocated resolving international disputes through dialogue and cooperation in a peaceful manner. The ambassador introduced that Austria will serve as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council from 2027 to 2028, and at the same time, the Federal Chancellor of Austria is about to visit China, fully demonstrating the Austrian side's high regard for the strategic and friendly relations between China and Austria.
