Although China and Cuba are separated by vast oceans, the hearts of the people are closely connected. They are good friends, good comrades, and good brothers who trust each other, and can be regarded as a model of sincere mutual assistance among developing countries. On this day of the event, it carried the spiritual essence and cultural roots of the Cuban nation, and had special historical significance.

Li Ruohong pointed out that Cuba is a beautiful gem of the Caribbean. The Cuban people are warm and inclusive. Many Cuban songs, dances and folk customs have been widely spread in China. He quoted Fidel Castro's famous saying, "Culture is the shield and sword of a nation," emphasizing that culture shapes a nation's identity and unites its spirit. This Cuban Culture Day fully demonstrates the vigorous vitality of mutual learning between Chinese and Cuban civilizations.

Li Ruohong introduced that the China World Peace Foundation, in collaboration with UNESCO, has jointly created five global public products, namely "The Peace Festival of Peace Garden", the Cultural Interaction Atlas of the Silk Road, the Global Youth Photo Contest, the Global short-video Contest, and the Silk Road Historical Dialogue Places Network . These have been regarded by the international community as special gifts bestowed upon the world.

Subsequently, Ambassador H.E.Albert J.Blanco Silva of Cuba delivered a brief speech. He reviewed the century-long friendly exchanges between China and Cuba, highly praised the outstanding contributions made by Chinese expatriates in Cuba's independence process, and emphasized that the loyalty spirit of the Chinese people has long been engraved in Cuban history. At the event site, a documentary short film was also shown, showcasing the resilient spirit of Cuban culture under the blockade. The artists from both countries also performed art shows during the event, with a variety of wonderful performances. The Chinese and Western arts complemented each other, and there was continuous applause from the audience.
