On September 8^th, a grand farewell reception for H.E. Ambassador Hashmi was held at his residence in China. Dr. Li Ruohong, the Chairman of the China World Peace Foundation, was invited to attend the event.

The atmosphere at the event was warm and sincere. Many foreign ambassadors to China, representatives of international institutions, and friendly people from China and abroad gathered together to bid farewell to H.E. Ambassador Hashmi, who has made positive contributions to the cause of China-Pakistan friendship. During his tenure, H.E. Ambassador Hashmideeply cultivated the all-weather strategic partnership between China and Pakistan, actively promoted political trust, economic cooperation and cultural exchanges between the two countries, and played an important role in consolidating traditional friendship between China and Pakistan and promoting regional peace and stability.

During the event, Dr. Li Ruohong had a cordial exchange with H.E. Ambassador Hashmi  and highly praised his efforts and achievements during his tenure in China for promoting friendly relations between the people of China and Pakistan, cultural mutual learning and peaceful public welfare cooperation. At the same time, Dr. Li Ruohong interacted deeply with the foreign ambassadors to China and diplomatic officials present, shared international friendship, discussed multilateral cooperation and the vision for global peace and development, and shook hands warmly with the former Pakistani Ambassador to China, Masood, to express their deep friendship that had endured for many years.

This event further strengthened the friendly ties between the China World Peace Foundation and the embassies of various countries in China and international organizations, deepened the foundation of friendly relations between China and Pakistan for generations, and accumulated positive strength for continuously conducting multilateral people-to-people diplomacy, deepening international cultural exchanges, and jointly building a community of peace.
