On September 7^th, a friendly exchange event to celebrate the 78^th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea was grandly held at the Peace Garden Museum in Beijing. This event was hosted by the Embassy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in China, with the aim of continuing the traditional friendship between China and DPRK, deepening people-to-people cultural exchanges, and jointly promoting regional peace and development.

Dr. Li Ruohong, the president of the China World Peace Foundation, was invited to attend this celebration event. The atmosphere at the event was solemn and warm, with 80 more friendly guests from both China and North Korea gathering together to celebrate the 78th anniversary of North Korea's founding.

At the event, Vice Consul Jong Yong Sam(정영삼) of the Embassy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and Secretary-General Wang Hongzhan of the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation delivered speeches successively. Both sides jointly reviewed the long-standing traditional friendship between China and North Korea and jointly hoped to continuously deepen friendly cooperation in multiple fields, consolidate the deep friendship between the two peoples, and promote the long-term development and continuation of the traditional friendly relations between China and North Korea.

After the leaders' speeches, all the participants watched a special film on North Korea's national development, which vividly and intuitively presented the new features and achievements of North Korea's economic construction, people's livelihood development, cultural and artistic activities, and social construction. After the viewing session, the guests visited an exhibition of pictures and books on the North Korean theme. The exhibition, through a large number of documentary pictures, precious documents and books, and thematic display contents, comprehensively and multi-dimensionally presented North Korea's beautiful mountains and rivers, folk culture, development process and era features, allowing the guests present to immerse themselves in the unique cultural charm and development heritage of North Korea.

This event relied on the high-quality international exchange platform of the Peace Garden Museum, with rich forms such as speech exchanges, video viewing, and thematic exhibitions, to build a friendly bridge for civil dialogue and people-to-people connectivity between China and North Korea, further consolidating the foundation of civil friendship between the two countries, and accumulating warm strength for continuously deepening civil mutual learning and writing a new chapter of peace and friendship between the two countries.
