In September 1^st, Mr. Li Ruohong, the chairman of the China World Peace Foundation, met with the new Austrian cultural counselor in the Peace Garden Museum, H.E.Ms.Silvia Neureiter. The two sides conducted in-depth and practical exchanges on issues such as cultural exchanges between China and Austria, protection of world and intangible cultural heritage, cultivation and career development of young artists in the two countries.

During the meeting, both sides agreed that cultural heritage is an important link for the dialogue of the two civilizations. China and Austria can rely on their respective high-quality cultural resources to continuously promote the inheritance, protection and innovative dissemination of world and intangible cultural heritage, and build a regular cross-border cultural exchange platform.

During the exchange, the Austrian side sincerely invited Mr. Li Ruohong to attend the performance of the Austrian Philharmonic Orchestra in China in late October. Mr. Li Ruohong accepted the invitation gladly. Both sides expressed that they would take the high-end art performance as an opportunity to continuously deepen the mutual learning of civilizations between China and Austria and friendly exchanges between the people, and promote the continuous development of cultural exchange in the two countries.
