On July 29th, a friendly lunch was held at the residence of the Pakistani Ambassador to China. Dr. Li Ruohong, the chairman of the China World Peace Foundation, was invited to attend and had a cordial meeting and in-depth exchange with the outgoing Pakistani Ambassador to China, H.E.Mr. Hashmi.

During the meeting, Ambassador Hashmi reviewed the achievements of bilateral friendly cooperation during his tenure in China and shared his personal plans. He stated that he will officially retire in one year, shedding his public office status and no longer being bound by government work. In the future, he looks forward to continuous communication with Chairman Li Ruohong and working together to deepen people-to-people exchanges between China and Pakistan, jointly promoting the in-depth development of cultural exchanges and public welfare undertakings between the two countries, and consolidating the grassroots foundation of the all-weather strategic partnership between China and Pakistan.

During the lunchtime exchange, Chairman Li Ruohong had a special discussion with representatives of the Chaudhry family from Pakistan regarding Winza jewelry. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on the Pakistani national cultural heritage, craftsmanship concepts, and modern design aesthetics contained in the brand, thus opening up new ideas for mutual learning and cultural cooperation in the characteristic cultural industries of China and Pakistan.
