On 22 July 2026, Mr. Li Wen, Chief Representative of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) China Office, and his delegation visited the Peace Garden Museum in Beijing. They held friendly talks with Mr. Li Ruohong, Chairman of the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation and Curator of Peace Garden Museum.

Both sides conducted in-depth discussions on the intrinsic links between international migration, overseas communities and social-economic development. They assessed the feasibility of advancing multilateral diplomacy and global governance amid global population mobility, networked urban dialogues and people-to-people cultural exchanges in the new era, and outlined directions and models for sustainable cooperation projects between the two parties.
