On July 17, Dr. Li Ruohong, Chairman of the China World Peace Foundation and Director-General of the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, attended the celebration reception for the 53rd Anniversary of the Independence of the Bahamas hosted by the Embassy of the Bahamas in China.

At the event, Chairman Li held cordial exchanges with H.E. the Ambassadors of the Bahamas, Grenada and Brazil to China, as well as the Haitian representative to China. Their discussions covered people-to-people diplomacy under the Silk Road framework, peace-related public welfare undertakings and the mitigation of regional conflicts. He was also invited to write an inscription in the embassy’s guest book.
