On July 17^th, Mr. Li Ruohong, the chairman of the China World Peace Foundation, the president of the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, and the curator of the Peace Garden Museum, met with a delegation of the Hungarian sports team led by Mr. Zelei, the representative of the Hungarian World Peace Foundation, the world cycling peace ambassador.

During the meeting, the two sides conducted in-depth and practical communication on core topics such as sports empowering peace, dissemination of public welfare culture, and sports cultural exchanges at the World Cup. Adhering to the peace concept of "building bridges rather than walls, and seeking peace rather than conflict", they actively explored the cross-border integration and development model of sports and public welfare undertakings, and fully affirmed the important role of sports in uniting the people's hearts, transmitting friendship, and promoting international and people-to-people exchanges. Based on this friendly meeting, the two sides reached preliminary cooperation consensus. Both sides look forward to further deepening their cooperation in the future. The foundation and the Hungarian Embassy in China have cooperated, relying on the cross-border peace and public welfare cycling series activities, to bidirectionally disseminate the charm of the world cultural heritage and intangible cultural heritage of China and Hungary, using sports, cuisine, music, art, etc. as carriers to cross-border drive economic cooperation and social public welfare actions between the two countries, and promote the beauty of civilization. To enhance the people-to-people diplomacy between China and Hungary, the internationalist spirit demonstrated by the green cycling, Mr. Li Ruohong signed on the delegation's world cycling signature book.

During the event, the Hungarian delegation visited the Peace Garden Museum Park and deeply felt the original intention and mission of the Peace Garden Museum in practicing the Olympic spirit. This meeting further expanded the multiple channels of cultural and sports exchanges between China and Hungary, and built a solid bridge and bond of friendship for the protection and inheritance of world cultural heritage and the promotion of tourism and cultural construction between the two countries.
