On July 8^th, 2026, Professor Li Ruo-hong, President of the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation and Curator of Beijing Peace Garden Museum, met with a delegation led by Mr. Simon Sialla, Advisor to the President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Curator of the National Museum of the DRC.

Following a tour of the global collections at Beijing Peace Garden Museum, the two sides held discussions on bilateral ties as well as China-Africa cooperation in historical culture, economic and social development, energy, science and technology.

The two parties reached consensus on the conservation and promotion of world cultural heritage and intangible cultural heritage, exchanges between sister cities and friendly industries, youth traditional education, and museum collaboration. They agreed to jointly develop and share public welfare initiatives dedicated to peace.
