Recently, the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, in collaboration with the Department of Political Science at Rice University in the United States, and the American-Chinese Aviation Heritage Foundation (the Flying Tigers), jointly held an online commemorative photo exhibition titled "The Flying Tigers Across Time and Space". Dr. Li Ruohong, the chairman of the China World Peace Foundation and the  president of the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, delivered an online keynote speech. Mr. Greene, the chairman of the American Flying Tigers Committee, delivered an online speech too. Scholars from both China and the United States, as well as international young students, gathered online to recall the war-torn years and carry forward the friendship of peace.

President Li Ruohong pointed out in his keynote speech that the spirit of the Flying Tigers is a precious historical testimony of the two countries standing together and supporting each other in times of crisis. The Chinese people will never forget that during the years of the World Anti-Fascist War, the American Flying Tigers traveled thousands of miles to come to China, using their blood and lives to forge a bond of battle across borders. This history is not only a monument of friendship in the hearts of the two peoples, but also a spiritual force that transcends time and space, inspiring future generations to safeguard peace.

Mr. Greene, the chairman of the American Flying Tigers Committee, expressed great appreciation in his speech for this online commemorative photo exhibition. He stated that through this warm and profound exhibition, international students were able to relive the glorious history of the Flying Tigers and experience the deep friendship forged by the people of China and the United States during the war. This was the best continuation and tribute to the spirit of the Flying Tigers.

This event specially invited Professor Matthias Staisch from the Department of Political Science at Rice University and Professor Lü Tong from the University of Houston to deliver keynote speeches.

Professor Staisch, from an international political perspective, deeply analyzed the historical significance of the Flying Tigers for contemporary China-US relations, emphasizing that people-to-people exchanges are the key to resolving differences and enhancing mutual trust. Only by strengthening cultural and people-to-people exchanges can the friendship between China and the United States continue to develop steadily in the new era.

Professor Lv Tong, as a representative of outstanding Chinese scholars, deeply reflected on the life-and-death bond between the Flying Tigers and the Chinese people. Based on his own research, he expounded on the significant role of overseas Chinese in the exchanges between China and the United States, and pointed out that carrying forward the spirit of the Flying Tigers and promoting cultural exchanges is an important mission bestowed upon us in the new era.

The successful organization of this event was planned and executed efficiently by Ms. Sissi Stahlecker (Zhang Jiwen), an outstanding volunteer from the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation and a German student from Rice University. Her efforts were highly recognized and praised by Chairman Green, Chairman Li Ruohong, and all the participants.

The exhibition attracted international students from Rice University and several other American universities to view it online. A series of precious historical photos and a number of vivid oral historical accounts vividly depicted the glorious days when the Flying Tigers fought side by side with the Chinese military and civilians. This made young students deeply appreciate the powerful bond forged by the people of China and the United States in times of crisis, and further enhanced their understanding of the value of peace and the significance of friendship.
