
On January 30th , Wang Yu, the deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Committee for Foreign Affairs and the secretary-general,executive vice President of the Beijing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, led a delegation to visit the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation. There, he held in-depth discussions with Li Ruohong, the vice president of the Beijing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the chairman of the China World Peace Foundation, as well as Wang Hongzhan, the secretary-general of the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, on the direction, plans, activity projects and implementation paths of 2026's civil diplomacy and international cooperation. They reached consensus on areas such as the dissemination of peace culture, international exchanges among teenagers, cultural interaction along the "Belt and Road Initiative", and global sustainable development public welfare practices. They also established a regular communication and collaboration mechanism.
In the future, the Beijing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries will work together with the China World Peace Foundation and the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation to fully leverage their respective advantages, integrate high-quality resources, and implement a series of international projects with themes, stories, warmth and effectiveness. Through the unique resources of civil diplomacy, they will convey China's voice of peace and contribute to the capital's efforts in achieving a community with a shared future for mankind.
