On December 9th , the Embassy of Austria in China, the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, and the Beijing Peace Health Development Center, in collaboration with Beijing Chaoyang Hospital, jointly held a public welfare performance of Austrian music in the outpatient halls of the main campus and Changying Branch of Chaoyang Hospital. This performance themed "Winter Music · Warming Hearts Together" broke the boundaries of traditional stages and kicked off with a dynamic flash mob format, presenting a visual and auditory feast that combined artistic texture and humanistic warmth to medical staff on the front line and patients seeking medical treatment.

At the beginning of the event, in the outpatient hall of Chaoyang Hospital, Austrian pianist Mr.Matthias Fletzberger was the first to touch his fingers. The notes of the classic melody "Ode to Joy" flowed slowly, instantly catching the attention of the passing medical staff and patients. About ten seconds later, the melodious sound of a violin came from the other corner. Violinist Ms.Zhang Jiyuan(Elfi Stahlecker) walked slowly towards the piano area along with the melody. After another ten seconds or so, the Austrian accordionist Mr. Jacob Steinkellner played the same piece with his instrument, gathering towards the center as he played. The three artists responded in perfect harmony and drew closer step by step. The audience on the spot also spontaneously gathered towards the performance area, forming a warm interactive picture in the flowing melody. When the last note fell, the audience burst into thunderous applause. Ms. Hardiman, the Cultural Counselor of the Austrian Embassy in China, Chairman Li Ruohong of the China World Peace Foundation, and the leaders of Beijing Chaoyang Hospital jointly took a warm group photo with the artists, capturing this special public welfare performance and the warm moment of cross-cultural exchange.

After the group photo, the official performance kicked off with warmth. Accordionist Mr. Jacob Steinkellner was the first to take the stage. With his fingertips dancing, the melody, which combines European charm and Oriental flavor, was gentle and melodious, gradually pushing the atmosphere of the scene to a climax. Subsequently, violinist Ms.Zhang Jiyuan(Elfi Stahlecker) and pianist Mr.Matthias Fletzberger performed Mozart's Violin Sonata in G major together. The collision of the two instruments created a delicate and touching musical piece, sometimes gentle and soft, sometimes bright and passionate, conveying comfort and strength through music. Finally, pianist Mr.Matthias Fletzberger concluded the performance with a solo piece. His exquisite skills and passionate emotions were integrated into every note, immersing the audience in a pure artistic enjoyment and bringing this public welfare performance to a perfect close.

This Sino-Austrian music public welfare performance is a deep integration of cross-cultural exchange and public welfare spirit by the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation. It is also a tribute to the dedication of medical staff and a warm care for the patient group. The melodious tune penetrates the hustle and bustle of the hospital, soothing the body and mind and healing the soul with the power of art. It not only brings warmth and comfort to medical staff and patients in the cold winter, but also builds a folk bridge for cultural exchange between China and Austria, allowing the concepts of peace, friendship and healing to spread and spread through music.
