On September 23, 2013 a high-level forum was held on “MDG Success Accelerating Action, Partnering for Impact” in the United Nations headquarters.

The forum was presided over by Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. More than 200 people were invited to present at the meeting. They were heads of government like the President of Peru, Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Prime Minister of Samoa, Prime Minister of Norway, Chair of United Nations Development Group, Director-General of UNESCO, President of World Bank, Director-General of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, Director-General of World Health Organization, etc., as well as heads of the famous non-governmental organizations from all over the world. At the invitation of Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, China World Peace Foundation Chairman Li Ruohong and his party also attended the forum.
