In the afternoon of 5th, December, H.E. Masood Khalid, Ambassador of Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan,with the Deputy Chief of Mission and Economic Minister of Pakistan Embassy,visited Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation（BIPCF）and were warmly welcome by the President of BIPCF  Mr. Li ruohong . Both sides held a friendly meeting in Peace Garden Museum discussing about the promotion of cultural communications and investment from private enterprises in between China and Pakistan.

Before the meeting, the President Li ruohong first showed the Pakistani guests around the Peace Garden stone inscriptions and the Peace Garden Museum, the guests were deeply impressed by the various precious peace topic collections in the Museum.

During the meeting,Ambassador Khalid fully affirmed and  highly praised BIPCF’s role in the promotion of China and Pakistan civil economic and cultural communications . He said that, along with the signing of over 20 agreements of economic and cultural projects of Pakistan during the APEC, a new trend of trading and cultural development between China and Pakistan is coming in the next 3-5 years. Pakistan side sincerely expects the consistent efforts from BIPCF in the future implementation of the signed Pakistan agreements of economic and cultural projects.

Mr.Li ruohong , the President of BIPCF, first congratulated Pakistani Mission’s achievements in signing the economic and cultural agreements. He agreed that the BIPCF will take all efforts to promote the economic and cultural development between China and Pakistan by carrying on the “Peace +1” developing mode of public welfare. At the same time, as honorary investment adviser to Pakistani Islamic Government, Mr.Li ruohong will devote himself to contributing to the economic construction of Pakistan.

After the meeting, Ambassador Khalid agreed happily to write the peace inscription for Peace Garden stones:“Peace and Development is our common aspiration, and Pakistan and China will work together to achieve it”
