On November 29th , Dr. Li Ruohong, Chairman of the China World Peace Foundation and President of the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, and H.E. Mr. Khalil Ur Rahman Hashmi , Ambassador of Pakistan to China, jointly unveiled the "Pakistan Culture Photo Exhibition and Donation Ceremony" at the Beijing Peace Garden Museum .

At the unveiling ceremony, Chairman Li said: "This batch of photo works donated for public welfare shows the deepening of China Pakistan friendship and the development of the Belt and Road China Pakistan Cultural Corridor. At present, the international situation is in turbulence,  regional peace and security are our common concern. As all-weather strategic cooperation partners, China and Pakistan shared community of common destiny highlights its importance. Protecting and disseminating the world cultural heritage and intangible cultural heritage is also our common story and responsibility."

Ambassador H.E.Hashmi  said, "We donated the ten most touching photos of Pakistani culture taken by the Chinese tourists for three levels of meanings. First, it helps people to know more about Pakistan through the Chinese people's vision. Second, these photos are not only images, but also permanent memories of the friendship between the Chinese and Pakistani people. Finally, these photos were taken in the 2023 Pakistan Tourism Year, and welcome you all to visit Pakistan more in the future.".

As an official partner of UNESCO, the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation is committed to the public welfare cooperation of UNESCO's " Belt and Road Cultural Interaction". The pictures of Pakistan's cultural masterpieces donated by the Pakistani Embassy to the Peace Garden Museum for a long time are the witness of the people to people and cultural exchanges between China and Pakistan under the Belt and Road Initiative. Pakistani Ambassador H.E.Hashmi introduced the stories behind the scenes of these ten selected photos to Chairman Li and other guests on site. Ms. Miao Yifan, a young actress from the Central Opera House, and Mr. Qin Zhen, a famous martial artist, performed their masterpiece for the event. Afterwards, the Pakistani Ambassador, Minister, and Counsellor to China held a symposium on economic and cultural cooperation with Mr. Li Ruohong and representatives of Chinese entrepreneurs.
