On November 4th, H.E.Mr. John Peter, the newly appointed representative of Haiti to China, together with his mother, wife and son, visited Peace Garden to express his gratitude to Dr. Li Ruohong, Chairman of the China World Peace Foundation and President of the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation. H.E.Mr. John Peter thanked the foundation for its decisive charitable act in helping the elderly, weak, women, and children out of Haiti during the domestic turmoil in Haiti, and praised the foundation's people to people diplomacy, which deepened the friendship between the peoples of China and the Haiti who look forward to the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries soon.
