On the evening of February 9, Mr. Li Ruohong, Chairman of the China World Peace Foundation and President of the Beijing International  Peace  Culture Foundation  , together with H. E. Mr. Xie Feng, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of China, H.E. Mr.Antonia Hugo, Ambassador of Jamaica to China, and hundreds of ambassadors from all countries and representatives from all walks of life  attended the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Jamaica.

Jamaica is one of the first countries in the Caribbean region to establish diplomatic relations with China. Jamaica's cultural heritage is world-renowned. In the Peace Garden Museum, the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation  once cooperated with the Jamaican Embassy in China on the China Latin America "Silk Road" cultural corridor, held Reggae music concerts, rum tasting and other activities, which deepened the cultural interaction between the people of China and Latin America. We believe that the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Jamaica will promote the cooperation between the two countries in various fields and jointly build the "Silk Road" with high quality.
