On May 26, Dr. Li Ruohong, President of  China World Peace Foundation, attended the 2565th Buddha's birthday(Jayanti) held in the Nepalese Embassy at the invitation of H.E.Mr.Mahendra Bahadur Pandey, Nepalese Ambassador to China.

At 9 am, in front of the statue of Prince Sakyamuni placed in the Nepalese Embassy, Master Zhan Ru, vice president of the Chinese Buddhist Association, led the monks of the Yonghe temple and Guangji temple to pray for the early elimination of the epidemic, good luck and peace for the people and world . Nearly 100 envoys from Nepal, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Pakistan, Laos and other countries and guests from all walks of life attended the event to celebrate the Buddha's birthday.
