On the evening of May 21st , Dr. Li Ruohong, President of the China World Peace Foundation,together with 15 Ambassadors , was invited to attend the reception of "Celebrating the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the people's Republic of China and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan" jointly held by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in China at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse.  More than 300 representatives from all walks of life attended the event.

During the event, Mr. Wang Qishan, vice president of the people's Republic of China, expressed his gratitude to the friends and envoys who have been promoting the friendship between China and Pakistan.He said that at present, the changes in the past century and the epidemic situation in the 21st century are intertwined and superimposed, and the international situation is changeable. It is not only in the interests of the two countries and their peoples, but also conducive to the lasting stability and common prosperity of the region to inherit and carry forward the all-weather friendship between China and Pakistan and to carry out strategic cooperation in a wider scope and at a deeper level;We sincerely look forward to taking advantages of the opportunity of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan to push the cause of China Pakistan friendship to a higher level.
