In the afternoon of February 5, 2021, Dr. Li Ruohong, President of China World Peace Foundation and Beijing Peace Culture Foundation met and talked with Dr. Oliveira Marielza, Chief Representative of UNESCO China Office, with topics ranging from coordinating regional, international organizations, governments and enterprises to carry out cross-civilization collaboration on science, technologies and agriculture in particular.

Dr. Marielza thanked President Li and the Foundation for their long standing support to her work in China, saying that President Li is her very important adviser and close personal friend in China and expressed her appreciation to the achievements made by Mr. Li in the field of peace public welfare over the years. The two parties have jointly discussed future interactions and cross-civilization collaboration in the fields of dealing with climate change, safeguarding women’s rights, supporting youth growth, protecting world heritages and passing on intangible cultural heritages.
