On September 18, " Intelligent Transport and the Future of Mobility" 2020 ZGC FORUM AI + Transport Parallel Forum was successfully held in Beijing. The forum is hosted by Beijing NGO Network for International Exchanges and Beijing Minhe Foundation for International Exchanges. It is organized by China Transport News and Beijing Transport Institute. It is supported by China Intelligent Transportation Systems Association, Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Transport, Beijing Municipal Commission of Transport, Beijing People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation.8576 guests, including top experts and scholars from domestic universities and research institutions, leading enterprises in the fields of intelligent transportation, Internet and new formats, as well as the main principals, well-known experts in the field of intelligent transportation and diplomats from nearly 30 countries, attended the meeting online and offline.
This forum is the second "AI+" series parallel forum created within the framework of ZGC FORUM after the AI+ Health parallel forum of 2019 ZGC FORUM. The purpose of this forum is to play the role of bridge and link of non-governmental foreign exchanges, promote international exchange and cooperation in the field of intelligent transportation, and serve the functional construction and high-quality development of the "Four Centers" in the capital.
Ms.Zhao Wenzhi, vice chairman of China NGO Network for International Exchanges, vice chairman of the 12th CPPCC municipal committee and President of Beijing NGO Network for International Exchanges, and Mr. Li Chaochen, chairman of China Intelligent Transportation Association, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Mr.Liu Xiaoming, Vice Minister of Transportation,Mr. Charlene Bart, President and CEO of American intelligent Transportation Association, and Mr. Jacob Bensgard, President and CEO of European Intelligent Transportation Association, delivered video speeches .
At the invitation of Dr. Li Ruohong, vice president of the Municipal Association for friendship with foreign countries, vice president of Beijing NGO Network for International Exchanges and President of Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, diplomatic envoys and representatives of international organizations from UK, Latvian, Brazil, Turkmenistan, Cape Verde, Pakistan and Morocco participated in the panel discussion of"Transportation Technology and Public Safety", "Transportation Big Data and Intelligent City Transportation Brain Construction", discussing with the representatives of the science and Technology Department of the Ministry of transport of China, the Beijing Municipal Committee of communications and the China Intelligent Transportation Association.
Mr.Ren bin, deputy director of the World Bank's Transportation Global Practice Bureau, Mr.Da Yuecheng, vice president of Japan's Intelligent Transportation Association, Mr.Xia Shudong, chairman of Beijing Qianfang Technology Co., Ltd., and Mr.Ding Neng, vice president of DiDi , delivered keynote speeches on "new technology of AI transportation " and "future development trend of AI transportation system".
During the parallel forum, four research achievements in the application field of intelligent transportation technology were also released, namely, China Transportation transformation and innovation knowledge platform activity plan jointly issued by the World Bank and China Communications News, marginal agents supporting high-level automatic driving issued by Beijing Qianfang Technology Co., Ltd., Heavy Truck Overload self identification intelligent "sky scale" system technology issued by Beijing Jiaotong University and subway reservation travel technology issued by Beijing Transportation Development Research Institute.
At the forum, President Zhao Wenzhi and Dr. Li Ruohong took a group photo with diplomatic envoys and representatives of international organizations of seven countries.
