On January 15th , 2020, the China Film Literature Creation Fund, initiated by Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation , the SME cooperation and development promotion center, the ZHHZ alliance of cultural and creative arts film and television institutions, and the China film literature association, was officially launched at Peace Garden Museum in Beijing.

The China Film Literature Creation Fund aims at promoting the development of Chinese film and television literature, focusing on helping the new generation of film and television scripts and encouraging the diversification of film and television production criticism. More than 100 officials, scriptwriters, directors, actors and actresses, as well as representatives of enterprises and social organizations, attended the ceremony and witnessed the opening of the institution.

Li Ruohong, Chairman of China World Peace Foundation and President of Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, awarded the letter of appointment to the director, deputy director, supervisor, chief supervisor, secretary general and deputy secretary general of the Fund Management Committee, as well as to the director and executive deputy director of overseas film and television cooperation creation&investment center.

Chairman Li Ruohong said that this is a meaningful thing to promote the development of the film industry. We have always been committed to international cultural exchanges, and the special fund for Chinese film literature is one of the contents of our "One Belt&One Road" Cultural Interactive Atlas project in cooperation with UNESCO. I hope to gather more domestic and foreign forces to promote the development of film literature.

Mr. Wang meng, honorary President of the China Writers Association, wrote an inscription for the launch ceremony, "people expect good script and good film "; Mr. Li Chongan, former vice chairman of the central committee of the Democratic League, delivered a congratulatory speech at the launch ceremony and wrote an inscription for the event, "support new scriptwriters and promote the development of film literature". Mr. Liang Xiaosheng, a member of the central museum of literature and history and a winner of the Mao Dun Literature Prize, a writer and screenwriter, entitled the Fund's Management Committee with the inscription "help the creation of film literature and write good Chinese stories with love". At the ceremony, Liu ning, deputy director of the office of China Film Literature Creation Fund Management Committee, Wang Ziyu, director of overseas film and television cooperation creation&investment center, and Chen Weiyi, executive deputy director, presented the above congratulatory speeches to the audience and accepted the award.

Mr. Aike Bairmijti, deputy director of the film and television literature committee of the Chinese writers association and executive vice President of the China film literature association, delivered a speech on behalf of the China film literature association.

Chairman of ZHHZ literature Creation Art Film&TV Institution Union, the Chinese film literature creation fund management committee director Mr.Chenchen said in an interview that the start-up fund to build supporting platform for the young writers , young directors and young actors aims to promote the multi-channel, diversified film development of our country, and to carry out the international cooperation of"China story" creation. Here the meaning of youth does not refer to age, but mainly refers to the mentality of creation. It also includes practitioners who change careers and transitions, such as those engaged in other areas of work transfer to film and television script creation, actors transferring to screenwriters, directors attempting screenwriters, etc., all of which are within the scope assisted by the fund and generated by the expert group after several rounds of evaluation. At the same time the new script selection entitled"Script of Play" will also be held by the Fund  .

During the event, actor Ma Jingtao introduced his script "Dueling" to the audience. Actor Li Ming introduced his initial thoughts and feelings on the scripts he co-wrote, "father and daughter," "love is not easy," "all have a share," and "Hanmo legend: The disaster caused by Money." Wei Hongyan, the representative of “Chiyou Sword” scripts creative group, introduced that "the Legend of Chiyou Sword" will start from the script creation of movies and TV series, gradually develop into the cultural and creative industry project, and expand its extension to the installation art park and related cultural and creative derivatives and other cross-fields, finally forming a multi-industry comprehensive creative development. Scriptwriter Chen Yufu introduced the creation "Eight Steps Sand" story outline, scriptwriter Qu Weijia introduced the "Magic Head Changing People " story outline. In addition to the eight works mentioned above, there are also "Victory Day" by Rao Shuguang and Shi Xuehai, and the TV script "Red Warrant", among which ten scripts are listed in the China Film Literature Creation Fund's 2020 Supporting Plan. The leaders at the event presented the shortlisted script with a certificate and a memento of the dynamic, time-critical installation, "Time Flies."

At the launch ceremony, Professor Zheng Yaling, from the Beijing Film Academy, stressed in her speech that the teaching of film scriptwriting should focus on cultivating students' confidence, because writing a script is a tedious process, and the most common word we encourage each other is "hang in there". Wu Xiaodong, director of the National Theatre of China, pointed out that there is a high demand for scripts in the creation of films and television programs. In today's film and television creation, the biggest problem is the lack of a good script. Zang Jinsheng, a national first-class actor and head of the actor troupe of China Film Group's Beijing Film Studio, put forward some suggestions on how the creation fund will go in the future, how to distribute the fund, how to produce the script, and how to incubate the film after the production. Film and television actor Zhu Yanping hopes that the fund's supporting platform can provide a bigger stage for the creation of actors.
