On October 19^th -20^th ,Peace Garden Museum holds education on the theme of "Remember Our Original Mission"& Chaoyang District 2019 training in the field of  museum and traditional culture

. This activity was sponsored by Chaoyang district Culture Tourism Bureau, organized by Chaoyang district Cultural Heritage Management Institute, Beijing Peace Garden Museum, co-organized by Beijing Eight Palace Handcrafts Art Museum, and more than 50 cadres and experts from Chaoyang District Museums and cultural tourism bureau related functional departments.

During the training on October 19^th , Ms.liu chaoying, former deputy director of the Beijing municipal administration of cultural heritage and President of the Beijing Society of Museums, lectured on "New Opportunities and Challenges for the Development of Museums in the New Era"

Mr.Bai qun, executive vice President of Beijing Eight Palace Handcrafts Association and curator of Beijing Eight Palace Handcrafts Art Museum shared "The Inheritance, Protection and Innovative Development of Eight Palace Handcrafts".

Mr.Hou xue, the representative inheritor of the national intangible cultural heritage inlaid gold lacquer  technique, based on his own experience of cultural relic restoration, told us about the harvest and experience of "I repaired cultural relics in the Palace Museum"

After the training, the trainees also visited ChengEn temple, known as "the most mysterious temple in Beijing", and appreciated the amazing charm of hundreds of royal art works in Eight Palace Handcrafts Art Gallery.

In the study on October 20^th , Mr.MAO zifang, a jade carving master of Beijing first-class arts and crafts, who was praised as the "craftsman of fine arts and crafts" in the industry, taught us "innovation in inheritance -- also on jade culture".

Peace Garden Museum also  invited cultural educator and world traveler Mr.ERIC who is  Mr.Edgar Snow's family. He shared the Snow couple’s  little-known legend's life during the anti-Japan war and Snow couple’s historical contributions to make China known by the western world . He also shared the innovative ideas and Exhibition Art of the world's largest and most influential modern art museum "the museum of modern art (MoMA) in New York".

Mr.Mourad, charge d 'affaires of the Moroccan Embassy in China, introduced the beginning of the contacts history between Morocco and China in the Yuan dynasty and some policy changes since the current visit of the sixth king of Morocco to China which adds the significant increase of Morocco's tourism at present and more to be expected next year at the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Morocco . He also highlighted the Moroccan Museums at the same time.

Afterwards, the trainees enjoyed the exhibition of the winning works of the international photography competition "silk road in the eyes of teenagers" being held in Peace Garden Museum. It is a photographic journey through the eyes of the young to express unique insights and perspectives on the common heritage and diverse identity of the silk road through photography, a powerful modern tool and international language.

The two days of themed education and training activities were intense and informative. After the study, everyone expressed that through the two-day training, the students focused on understanding the development opportunities of museums in the new era, innovative thinking of world-famous museums, as well as the protection, inheritance and innovative development of excellent traditional Chinese culture. The training developed the trainees’ vision, the growth of knowledge, understanding of the trend.It enhances the communication between the Museums, increases the intensity of the mutual cooperation.The trainees said that they will work with more enthusiasm, more solid efforts, for Chaoyang district culture construction, for the innovation and development of Beijing Four Centers Construction , to make new greater contributions for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese culture .
