On July 15, a group of more than 20 people including chairmen, expert consultants of Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation visited Zhang Yiyuan tea production base which was known as Chinese time-honored brand.

Zhang Yiyuan Tea boasts a history of 120 years. Under the leadership of Wang Xiulan, the inheritor of China's intangible cultural heritage, the internationally renowned jasmine tea was established by means of brand leader, modern enterprise innovation and industrial poverty alleviation. During the inspection, the foundation team, accompanied by the two chairmen Wang Xiulan and Yang Youcheng, visited the assembly and processing production line, packaging workshop, evaluation center and testing center, and watched the enterprise publicity video.

During the discussion, people conducted a warm and wise discussion on how to protect and develop intangible cultural heritage. Honorary Chairman, Zhao Jiaqi told that old Beijinger had strong feelings about jasmine tea, which was the recognition of the people,the inheritable awareness of business leaders and innovative spirit. Chairman Li Ruohong of the foundation proposed the combination of the“ Belt and the Road" initiative, the functional construction of "four centers" in Beijing as well as the "Belt and Road Interactive Cultural Map" jointly planned by the foundation and UNESCO. 

By studying international standards of tea culture, organizing international academic salon activities, internationalization process of the Zhang Yiyuan Tea Group can be accelerated. Zhao Jianping, financial expert of the foundation also put forward some positive suggestions regarding tea tasting stories, transnational management and national strength development.
