This year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), and the 1st anniversary of Chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission Kim Jong-Un’s visit to China. Jointly Organized by the Embassy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and China World Peace Foundation and supported by Beijing NGO Network for International Exchanges,Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, China.org.cn and Belt.china.org.cn, Cultural Exhibition of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) was held in Beijing Peace Garden Museum on June 14, 2019. It lasted for one week. Mr. Li Ruohong, President of China World Peace Foundation and Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation , Zheng Xianyu, Minister of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to China, Li Zongzhi,representative of DPRK General Administration of Foreign Exhibition in China, and Xu Qiang,Secretary General of Beijing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Beijing NGO Network for International Exchanges and other guests attended the opening ceremony and cut the ribbon.Pictures of Chinese President Xi Jinping and the DPRK's leader Kim Jong-un’s talk and visit ,as well as 100 art works of well-known the DPRK's painters, were all on display in the cultural exhibition.

On June 14th, the Cultural Exhibition of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) was held in Beijing Peace Garden Museum. Mr. Li Ruohong, President of China World Peace Foundation and Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation , Zheng Xianyu, Minister of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to China, Li Zongzhi,representative of the DPRK’s General Administration of Foreign Exhibition in China,Xu Qiang,Secretary General of Beijing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Beijing NGO Network for International Exchanges and other guests attended the opening ceremony and cut the ribbon.

Dr. Li Ruohong, President of China World Peace Foundation and Curator of Beijing Peace Garden Museum, in his speech, first talked about his experience of leading delegations to visit the DPRK for many times. Since 2005, the Museum has held the DPRK’s painting exhibitions for 4 times , which received international support. He introduced precious collections presented by Chairman Kim jong-un and  DPRK - China Economic and Cultural Exchange Association’s cooperation with UNESCO's project-“An Interactive Atlas of Cultural Interactions along the Silk Roads”in northeast Asia . He hoped the two peoples would play their unique roles in global governance and regional peace, and called for a better future by injecting culture and art’s vitality in it.

On June 14th, Dr. Li Ruohong, President of  China World Peace Foundation, delivered a speech at the DPRK National Cultural Exhibition held at “Belt and Road Ambassador Village” in the Peace Garden.

In his speech, Mr.Zheng Xianyu, DPRK's Minister to China, said in his speech that it is a great pleasure to hold the cultural exhibition in Beijing Peace Garden Museum on the occasion of the 1st anniversary of  Chairman of the State Affairs Commission Kim Jong-Un’s historic visit to China.This year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries, which is of far-reaching significance.In accordance with demands of the times, we will join hands with our Chinese comrades to strengthen friendship, unity, exchanges and cooperation in the political, economic, military and cultural fields.

On June 14th, Zheng Xianyu, Minister of Embassy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to China delivered a speech at the DPRK national cultural exhibition held at “Belt and Road Ambassador Village” in Peace Garden.

Xu Qiang, Secretary General of Beijing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and  Beijing NGO Network for International Exchanges said in the speech that the culture exhibition provided an opportunity for us to keep close relationship with the DPRK’s friends, strengthen communications and pragmatic cooperation by giving full play to Beijing’s resource advantage under the guidance of “Belt and Road” initiative and actively conduct cooperation and exchanges between Beijing related NGOs and the DPRK in culture, economy, sports, education and other fields, which will benefit the two peoples and pass down the good tradition and friendship from generation to generation.

On June 14th, Zheng Xianyu, Minister of the Embassy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to China, Dr Li Ruohong, President of China World Peace Foundation, Xu Qiang,Secretary General of Beijing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Beijing NGO Network for International Exchanges watched the Korean film and photo exhibition with other guests in the Cultural Exhibition of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) held in Beijing Peace Garden Museum 

Li Zongzhi, representative of DPRK administration of foreign exhibition in China, expressed that he is so pleased to hold this exhibition in Beijing Peace Garden museum, a venue for world cultural exchange in the pursuit of peace and prosperity, hoping that today's exhibition could contribute to the building of a more beautiful DPRK- China friendship garden.

Minister Zheng Xianyu, President li Ruohong and other guests watched the DPRK film and photo exhibition. One painting with a unique aesthetic perspective has attracted a lot of attention.Some paintings showed folk customs of the DPRK, expressed the beauty of nature,the others demonstrated figures in the history and reality. The event will promote the traditional friendship between China and the DPRK through cultural exchanges.In opening ceremony of the cultural exhibition,on behalf of the DPRK government,Zheng Xianyu the Minister of the DPRK to China, presented a large painting themed with baektu mountain/Changbai Mountain and Tianchi which representing the DPRK - China friendship to President Li Ruohong, the organizer of the event.Wu Shimin, representative of Beijing International Peace culture Foundation and President of Beijing Association of Senior Care Industries, presented his painting of ten thousand galloping horses, which implied the spirit of forging ahead,to the DPRK’s embassy in China.

On June 14th, Cultural Exhibition of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) was held in Beijing Peace Garden Museum .Zheng Xianyu, the DPRK's Minister to China presented a large painting themed with baektu mountain/Changbai Mountain and Tianchi which representing the DPRK - China friendship to President Li Ruohong, the organizer of the event.

On June 14th, Wu Shimin, representative of Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation and President of Beijing Association of Senior Care Industries, presented his painting of ten thousand horses galloping, which symbolized the spirit of forging ahead, to the DPRK National Culture Exhibition held in “ Belt and Road Ambassador Village”in Peace Garden.

On June 14th, Li Honghai, Member of Board of Directors of Beijing International Peace Culture foundation, received a souvenir from the DPRK embassy in China at the DPRK national culture exhibition held in “ Belt ans Road Ambassador village” in Peace Garden.

On June 14, Wu Shimin, representative of Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation and President of Beijing Association of Senior Care Industries, received a souvenir from the DPRK Embassy in China at the DPRK National Cultural Exhibition held at “Belt and Road Ambassador Village” in Peace Garden.
