In March 16th, Dr. Li Ruohong, President of China World Peace Foundation and Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, and Ali Moussa, Iye, Chief of the Section History and Memory for Dialogue of UNESCO, held friendly talks with the Valencia municipal government and Francesc Colomer, Representative of Spain’s Parliament.
Ali Moussa Iye said that against the backdrop of globalization, city is playing an increasing role. The “An Interactive Atlas of Cultural interactions Along the Silk Roads” project promoted by the UNESCO and China world peace foundation and Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation can provide references for cooperation among the cities of Spain and China, which is important for promoting long-term exchanges between the two countries.
Dr. Li Ruohong said that exchanges between Chinese and Spanish people have entered a new development stage. Chinese cities can build partnerships with Valencia around the Silk Road heritage and play an important role in the area of innovation.
