The International Expert Meeting on “ An Interactive Atlas of Cultural interactions Along the Silk Roads” organized by UNESCO was held in Valencia, Spain. Representatives from China, Britain, Uzbekistan, Russia, Cambodia, the Netherlands, Thailand, South Korea, Japan, Australia and Bangladesh held dialogues and exchanges on the historical and geographical imprints of textiles and clothing on the Silk Roads, as well as on nationality, trade and culture.
Dr. Li Ruohong, President of China World Peace Foundation and Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, introduced the "“ An Interactive Atlas of Cultural interactions Along the Silk Roads” and the International Youth Photo Contest--”Youth Eyes on the Silk Roads”. He said that the ancient Silk Road had written friendly exchanges of great value enshrined in the historical memory of cultural exchanges, and that Chinese cities could establish partnerships with Valencia around the Silk Road heritage.
