On January 17th, The Belt and Road Ambassador Night Spring Reception was held in Beijing. In the reception, the Belt and Road Traceable Commodity Database jointly initiated by Belt.china.org.cn and China Traceability (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd was launched.

According to Mr. Zheng Liwei, Chairman of China Traceability (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd., the Belt and Road Traceable Commodity Database uses big data analysis technology to provide users with transaction data analysis and data services, including platforms for warehouse query, commodity inquiry, new product release, and brand communication, and so on. The “3D code + blockchain technology + RFID” product tracing network will be adopted to attache a unique ID to each item, so as to ensure that each item’s source and flow can be traced, and that fake and poor quality commodities can be rejected. 

“Users can query the details, source and producer of each item through the database, which achieves the traceability of source, transparency of transaction and sharing of data, ”said Zheng Liwei.

The reception is jointly organized by China Internet Information Center, International Relations Department of National Ethnic Affairs Commission, Embassy of the Maldives in China, The Belt and Road School of Beijing Normal University, and China World Peace Foundation; undertaken by China.org.cn, Belt.china.org.cn, China Development Gateway, Chinese Voice Think Tank, Xi'an International Inland Port Investment & Development Group Co., Ltd., China Traceability (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd., Jiangyin Chamber of Commerce in Beijing, ZZ HD Health Industry Group; and supported by Minzu University of China, The Belt and Road Institute of Jiangsu Normal University, Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, China Enterprise Confederation, China Enterprise Directors Association, CITIC Environment Investment Group, Liao Ning Sunvalley Vineyard Wine Co., Ltd., and GuanYun Distillery Co., Ltd.
