On 14 November 2018, members of the foundation leadership, Li Ruohong, Wang Minrong, and Lu Qingcheng conducted friendly exchanges with Bo Deyuan, chairman of Beijing Eight Palace Handicrafts Association and Chinese Arts and Crafts Institute; Wan Zi, mater of gold lacquer carving; Yin Xiuyun, master of carved lacquerware; Bo Qun, successor of the gold lacquer carving skills, national intangible cultural heritage; Yang Gangyi, the 7th generation successor of the Qing Palace workshop. The guests visited the Beijing Peace Garden Museum and signed a Strategic Co-operation Agreement of “Promoting Outstanding Chinese Culture and Enhancing International Exchanges and Cooperation”.
Beijing Eight Palace Handicrafts Association is a social organization consisting of successors of the eight palace handicrafts, national intangible cultural heritage and craft masters at various levels. The association will conduct exchange activities and public welfare projects theming on Belt and Road with Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation (BJIPCF).
