In the afternoon of June 29, Mr. Mauricio Arias Esguerra, gold award winner of the first Chopin Piano Music Festival, composer and music educator, visited the Beijing Peace Garden Museum in fine threads light rain. After seeing the collections presented by heads of states and dignitaries, he enthusiastically played a piece of music to express his feelings. The pianist also shared with Mr. Li Ruohong, curator of the museum, his experience in China and his plan of conducting Belt and Road international musical and humane cooperation. Mr. Li Ruohong gave Mr. Mauricio Arias Esguerra an album of songs he composed and the Peace Garden commemorative stamps as gifts and hoped that he would create more musical compositions combining western music and Chinese folk music.
