China World Peace Foundation and Beijing International Cultural Foundation have received the Spring Festival greetings from Mr. António Guterres, the Secretary-General of United Nations , Madam Audrey Azoulaythe , Director-General of UNESCO, more than 100 foreign ambassadors to China and regional international organizations before the Spring Festival. President Li Ruohong expresses that some touching messages and greetings among friends reflect not only the sincere mutual trust between the Chinese NGOs and the international community, but also the common feelings of the people. It also reflects the universal values of building a community of human destiny in China.

On February 6, the Maldivian Ambassador Faisal Mohammed made a special trip to visit President Li Ruohong, He forwarded  the commemorative envelope signed by Maldives President Abdulla Yameen and briefed President Li on the recent political situation in the Maldives. He said that the government has tried its best to stabilize the situation. He promised that the country's current friendly policy towards China, the friendship between Maldives and China and the ongoing construction of various projects in the Maldives of the "Belt and Road" would not be affected. During the talks, President Li expressed that the friendly development of the relations between the two countries is the fundamental interest of both peoples and is in line with the demand for regional peace and stability. President Li hopes that the Maldives will resume peace talks and resume the normal state. They agree to continue the special 2018 cultural exchanges between the two countries. Subsequently, they proposed a long-time peace photo exhibition project in the "Ambassador Village Ambassador" .

On the evening of February 6, President Li Ruohong, Ambassadors from Thailand, the Philippine, Singapore and other countries held their farewell dinner with Bruneian Ambassador Magdalene Teo. Ambassador Teo has been working and living in China for over nine years. She looked backward the time she took office in Beijing. She said she has participated many times in the "Peace Cup" International Golf Tournament and tourism projects organized by China World Peace Foundation and  co-organized Female diplomats to watch a series of Beijing's intangible cultural heritage activities. She witnessed the progress of China's economic and social development with her own eyes. "China's economic performance is remarkable. China has set an example for many countries and regions."

On February 13, H.E. Mr. Basil Vasillica Constantinescu, the newly appointed Romanian Ambassador to China, together with his wife came to China World Peace Foundation to meet President Li Ruohong. They visited the Peace Garden Museum and marveled at the international value of the collection. During the three-hour talk, the Ambassador emotionally reviewed and spoke highly of the development of the friendship between Romania and China. He said that Romania was one of the earliest countries that established diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China. Premier Zhou Enlai has visited the Embassy of Romania in China twice to promote the mutual support of the two countries in politics, economy and other fields. This year marks the 50th anniversary of Premier Chou En-lai's visit to the Romanian Embassy in Beijing. The embassy will hold a commemorative event and plan to make bronze statues for Zhou Enlai. The Ambassador expresses that  the economic growing rate of Romania is the highest among the 28 states in Europe Union. Mr. Ambassador and President Li Ruohong jointly stated that Romania would hold the rotating presidency of the EU next year and believe there would be new developments in the friendly relations between the two sides. Mr. Ambassador and President Li also exchanged the views and paths of cooperation in the bilateral, multilateral and social, economic and cultural fields between the people's diplomacy of the two countries. They exchanged greetings of Chinese New Year to each other.
