On January 29, 2018, China World Peace Foundation president Li Ruohong invited UNESCO's Silk Roads Interactive Cultural Atlas project leader Ali Moussa-Iye to a special trip to Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, to visit local university and institute. During the visit, accompanied by leaders of the academy, academics and artists, the delegation visited the Wind Pavilion, Silk Roads Museum, Shaanxi Institute of Clothing Engineering and Shaanxi Institute of Technology. In the Haojing Cultural Innovation Lab, the delegation watched the presentation developed by professional team of Big Knowledge Technology Platform and Dream Engine for the Silk Roads Interactive Cultural Atlas, including music, food etc. The delegation also enjoyed the Shaanxi Opera and ancient music of Tang Dynasty brought by famous artists. The delegation also participated in the premiere of My Cave Hole, My Home, a movie that epitomized the Yan'an spirit with producers, directors and actors. The visiting guests took photo with Yan'an Juvenile Waist Drum Team and gave the Peace Garden Silk Roads Memorial Stamps to the school principal and the students.
Both Ali Moussa-Iye and Li Ruohong said that, as a starting point for the Belt and Road Initiative, Shaanxi Province bears a far-reaching significance in using modern technology for the exchange between Chinese traditional national with that of the world’s. It is hoped that the good initiative can be advanced effectively. Under the witness of UNESCO representative, Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation signed a cooperation agreement on the development and application of artificial intelligence with Haoying Education Group under the framework of Silk Roads Interactive Cultural Atlas.
