On the night of September 12, 2017, Pakistan Defense Day event was organized in the Pakistani Embassy in Beijing to commemorate the nation’s 52nd Defense Day. Dr. Li Ruohong, President of China World Peace Foundation and Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, was invited to participate. 

Pakistani Ambassador to China H.E. Masood Khalid stressed that since the nation’s birth Pakistan has always adhered to the foreign policy of being a good neighbor and partner with its neighboring countries. In the face of the dispute, Pakistan hopes it can be settled through peaceful negotiations.

During the event, Dr. Li Ruohong held a cordial exchange with the ambassador. Dr. Li invited the latter to attend the Peace Garden Peace Festival scheduled on September 21, 2017 to celebrate the International Day of Peace. Ambassador Khalid was very pleased to receive the invitation and said he would deliver a speech in the festival.
