On the initiative of Mr. Wang Liwen, Vice Chairman of China National Committee for Pacific Cooperation Business Forum, and Mr. Li Ruohong, Deputy Director-Generaland Secretary-General of Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, aseries of Silk Road Economic Band academic seminars were organized with participation of experts from macro-economy, culture and art, agriculture,transportation, urban construction, energy, forestry, desertification control,finance and economics, prophylactic medicine and other industries. Manyvaluable suggestions have been made after heated discussions about the watersource, urban and rural construction, culture, ecology, culture, energy,interconnection and interworking and other problems on Silk Road Economic Band.

On the academic seminar onFeb 20th, the experts pointed out the construction of urbanagglomeration, bearing capacity, pilot sites, roadmap and market mechanism; putforward new urbanized life support system, industrial ecology, andsocial-economic-natural compound ecosystem; proposed that the construction of Silk Road Economic Band shall be based on government-social organization-enterprisecooperation mechanism, making Chinese Dream come true.
