A 16-member NPC delegation from Shunde District, Guangdong Province, led by its director Lie Haijian, visits Beijing Peace Garden Museum on April 15th, 2017.

Dr. Li Ruohong, curator of the museum, welcomes the delegation and accompanies the members in visiting the four exhibition zones, both indoor and outdoor. He also shows the delegation the publicity video of the museum and its various exhibits.

The visiting members demonstrate huge interest in the past, present and future of the Peace Garden Museum, and they show a great inclination to know more about the Peace+1 philosophy and Peace Festival. After an introduction of the operation mechanism of the museum by Dr. Li, both sides exchange views on education, scientific research and governance in a pleasant atmosphere.

Director Lie expresses his hope that a long-term cooperation can be maintained with the museum, and that both sides shall strengthen communications and interactions to serve the society and the international community under the framework of Belt and Road initiative.
