On November 12th, the 2016 "Global Governance• East Lake Forum”with the green development theme was co-hosted by the Huazhong University of Science and Technology(HUST) , China World Peace Foundation, Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, and NPC Chongyang in Wuhan East Lake International Conference Center . Mr.Guo Shenglian, vice governor of Hubei Province on behalf of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee congratulated the convening of the Forum and confirmed the contribution of HUST and China World Peace Foundation to global governance and green development , expecting the practical achievements of the Forum . Chair Li Ruohong spoke at the opening ceremony that he wishes the "Paris Agreement" to become a driving force for every country’s green development and every country along the “OBOR” reflects its independent contribution to explore the common development and implementation of green industrial policy ,green production system and management system. He wishes that every country could propose on how to stimulate the vitality of the market, risk control and to play the role of think tanks in the cultivation of international talents .He also wishes that everyone could cooperate in the green peace movement on silk road map with a sparkle of wisdom.Around 150 experts and scholars from around the world participated in the Forum, during which Dr. Li Ruohong , along with Hubei provincial leader and the leader of HUST talked about international cooperation of cross areas.
Dr. Li Ruohong was interviewed by Hubei provincial TV station,and on behalf of Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation he also awarded the "Peace Ambassadors" medal and presented the book "China NGO"to Mr.Kolodko ,the former first deputy prime minister of Poland .
