On the evening of July 21st, Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, founding member of ECCAC, together with the Secretariat of ECCAC held, in Peace Garden Museum, a farewell party for H.E. Dr. Ayman Aly Osman, minister counsellor of Economical and Commercial Office of Embassy of Egypt and president of ECCAC.
Dr. Li Ruohong, president of Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation and chairman of China World Peace Foundation, spoke highly of the great contribution made by Dr. Osman, and wished Dr. Osman a successful career after he returns to Egypt. Dr. Li said BJIPCF as a founding member will continue to support ECCAC under the new leadership of H.E. Kwadwo N. Atuahene, commercial minister of Ghana Embassy. Li hoped that ECCAC be proactive under the national strategies of One Belt and One Road, and Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
Osman recalled the founding of ECCAC, and expressed his thanks to Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation and the other members of the alliance for their continuous support and concerted effort. The new leadership of Kwadwo N. Atuahene will usher the alliance in a new era.
Kwadwo, as acting president of ECCAC, said ECCAC serves as a platform for commercial counsellors from various countries, bringing a lot of convenience to commercial offices of embassies. The alliance will continue to contribute to the trade and connections between China and other countries. Kwadwo thanked Osman for his trust and support to the alliance, and expressed his determination to assume the responsibilities.
In the end, Chairman Li, on behalf of Beijing International World Peace Foundation “Peace Ambassador” Award Committee, honored H.E.Dr. Osman “Peace Ambassador” in recognition of his contribution to world peace on international bilateral and multilateral social and economic cooperation through establishing the platform of ECCAC in the Peace Garden.
