On June 14th,  Photography Exhibition “Fidel is Fidel”was held in the Capital Library of China in celebration of 90th birthday of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz.Cuban Vice-Minister of Culture Julio Ballester, Cuban ambassador to China H.E. Mr. Alberto J. Blanco Silva, vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee Zhou Li,  vice minister of Culture Ding Wei and ambassdors from Latin American countries attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition.

Eighty-seven photos and two videos, documenting Mr. Fidel Castro's lifelong dedication to Cuban Revolution and the cause of building a socialist country, were displayed on the exhibition. They also showed the brotherly bond between China and Cuba over the years and revisited the pivitol and epic moments of Cuban people's revolution and construction of a socialist country.

During and after the opening ceremony, Dr. Li Ruohong, chairman of China World Peace Foundation, conversed with foreign and domestic government officials and ambassadors. They set a new vision for Sino-Cuba relationship and the multi-field cooperation between China and Carribean countries.
