June 10, 2016, Mr. Li Ruohong, Chairman of China World Peace Foundation, was invited to the reception held by Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to celebrate the official visit of Lithuanian Basketball League’s president Arvydas Sabonis and Lithuanian National Basketball Team’s coach Jonas Kazlauskas.
In the recpetion, Arvydas Sabonis, president of Lithuanian Basketball League , shared his experiences of playing basketball in NBA. He also had a talk with Chairman Li Ruohong of CWPC. Li expressed his willingness to hold basketball competitions, together with Mr. Sabonis, to advance the cause of world peace.
Li Ruohong also had a cordial conversation with Lithuanian Ambassador to China Ina Marciulionyte. Li has invited H.E. Ina Marciulionyte to visit Peace Garden Museum. H.E. Ina Marciulionyte expressed her gratitude for Li’s invitation and said she was looking forward to visiting Peace Garden Museum.
