On 13th of May, Dr Li Ruohong, President of China World Peace Foundation and China-Morocco (Ibn Battuta) Friendship Association, together with the Moroccan Minister of Culture, Moroccan Minister of Tourism, some officials from central government, as good as lots of scholars, artists and entrepreneurs, attended the opening ceremony of Morocco and China similarities exhibition. During the exhibition period, His Majesty Mohammed VI, king of Morocco, met with Mr.&Mrs. Li and Mr.&Mrs. Ambassador . His Majesty highly appreciated the exhibition initiated and implemented by the couples and highlighted their leadership of China-Morocco (Ibn Battuta) Friendship Association’s outstanding contributions for promoting the bilateral cooperation between China and Morocco. His Majesty also expressed much interest for the cultural, historical and natural similarities between the two countries and congratulated the establishment of strategic partnership of Morocco and China.

At the Opening Ceremony, Dr. Li Ruohong, Chairman of China World Peace Foundation said that the strong visual-impact pictures show the diverse cultural similarities between the two countries, which witnesses the long history of China-Morocco Friendship. The economic and cultural communication between the two countries will find more solutions for the “mutual communication” and “win- win” modes of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative countries, which will be an easily duplicated model . 

H.E. Mohamed Amine Sbihi, Moroccan Minister of Culture, also highly appreciated this unique pictures & in-kind exhibition organized by China World Peace Foundation and Peace Garden Museum, believing that this exhibition will further develop the bilateral economic&cultural cooperation.  Mr. Abderrafie Zoutien, Director of Morocco National Tourism Administration, warmly welcome Chinese citizens to visit the beautiful and romantic Morocco as Chinese travelers will enjoy the  visa-free privilege from 1st of June on. Mr. Xie Jinying, Director external affairs of Chinese Ministry of Culture thinks that the cultural communication between China and Morocco has a long history and the present communication between the two countries will be comprehensively developed and fruitful under the influence of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative.

The exhibition of Morocco and China similarity is not only of research value and international influence, but also of social educational meanings. The series and extension of this exhibition attracts much attention and positive responses from Chinese and foreign people. Apart from many local visitors, a lot of them come even from other cities at weekend for the exhibition despite the rains.
