On 9th of May, Dr.Li Ruohong, Chairman of China World Peace Foundation  met with Mr. Pu Hengjun , the Secretary General of the Congress of Republic of Korea , in Peace Garden. Counselor Li from the Embassy of the People's Republic of Korea in China, together with Mr.Li Xiangji, the president of Korea China Regional Economic Association and policy consultant of Korean congress also attended the meeting. Both parties started their topic by mentioning the Korean TV series "the descents of the sun" , discussing the cooperation potential in the fields of culture, economy and society of both countries, along with the topic of peace and security in the conflicting regions.They also discussed the social responsibilities and Think Tank of the "One Belt and One Road" initiative. Secretary General Pu Hengjun highly appreciates what China World Peace Foundation and Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation have done and is willing to cooperate with the two Foundations to promote the economic ,trade and cultural cooperation between China and South Korea, increasing the influence of bilateral and international societies in the governmental and civil cooperation.
