April 21st saw the opening ceremony of 2016 Beijing International Nongovernmental Organization salon and the Seventh International Cultural Festival in the University of International Business and Economy. Mr.Li Ruohong , the Chairman of China World Peace Foundation and the vice president of Beijing NGO Association for International Exchanges,   was invited to attend the event. The Principal of UIBE, Mr.Shi Jianjun and other leaders  introduced to Mr. Li and other guests the university in terms of cultural exchanges, training of foreign students in recent years. Over 100 Chinese and foreign guests  witnessed the grand opening ceremony together, overseas students from more than 50 countries and regions such as Russia, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, etc. gathered to demonstrate their respective national cultures and national traditions and customs, showing a colorful world culture picture to people.

On the afternoon of 22nd of April, Chairman Li Ruohong made a keynote speech at the International Auditorium of UIBE to promote The Belt and Road as NGO leader. Chinese and foreign experts and scholars from International Organizations and Embassies in China discussed the win-win development by focusing on the promotion of “The Belt and Road”initiative .
