On Mar.16-27th, Mr.Xu Jianguo, secretary general of CPECC (China Pakistan Economic&Cultural Center) of Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation led a delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs to attend the 2016 Pakistan-China Economic and Trade Forum in Pakistan. During the forum, Mr.Xu meet with H.E. Mr.Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Chief Minister of Punjab and extended to him the greetings of his old friend, Mr. Li Ruohong, Chairman of China World Peace Foundation.Mr. Xu also submitted to Mr.Sharif a package of proposals of entrepreneurs for their investment and construction in Punjab Province, covering IT, agriculture, medical care, urban construction, industry chain and trade, which got high attention from the provincial government. The further implementation of the proposals are underway.

Representatives of the industries and entrepreneurs in the delegation had extensive meetings with local counterparts in Lahore and Islamabad and signed MOUs on strategic partnership in IT, agriculture, medical care, infrastructure,etc., as well as MOUs on personnel training with National University of Science and Technology of Pakistan(NUST),  COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, etc.

Before leaving, Mr. Xu paid a special visit to H.E.Mr.Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Honorary Chairman of CPECC and Senate Defence Committee Chairman at the National Parliament of Pakistan, inviting him on behalf of Mr. Li Ruohong to visit Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation and Peace Garden Museum in the near future. Mr. Sayed accepted the invitation with delight.
