On 7th,Nov.,2015, the delegation of CPECC had a friendly meeting with H.E.Mr.Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Chief Minister of Punjab.During the meeting, Mr.Xu Jianguo,the secretary general of CPECC transferred a private letter from His Excellency’s old friend Mr. Li Ruohong, the chairman of China World Peace Foundation, to H.E.Mr.Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif . And then Mr. Xu , on behalf of CPECC, signed a MOU with Mr. Muhammad Irfan Elahi, Chairman, Planning&Development Board, Government of the Punjab. H.E.Mr.Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Chief Minister of Punjab witnessed the MOU signing ceremony. After the signing of this MOU , CPECC ,the first economic and cultural consortium which serve big&medium size enterprises in China , has developed an “express way”in helping Chinese enterprises to invest overseas, especially to invest, construct and develop in Punjab province whose GDP dominates almost 70% of Pakistan.
